The STEPN project team has unveiled a strategic collaboration with leading sportswear manufacturer Adidas. This partnership aims to introduce a groundbreaking move-to-earn initiative and promote the widespread adoption of the Find Satoshi Lab (FSL) ecosystem globally. The collaboration will result in the launch of a limited edition series of 1000 unique STEPN x Adidas Genesis non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Scheduled for release on April 17, the NFT collection will be available on the MOOAR marketplace. STEPN CEO Shiti Manghani highlighted that the integration will span both brands’ applications, featuring a comprehensive collaboration aimed at incentivizing physical activity, particularly running.
Despite the announcement of the partnership with Adidas, the native token of the STEPN project, GMT, experienced relatively modest growth. As of the latest update, GMT is trading at approximately $0.26 with gains, as per data from CoinMarketCap. However, the token remains 93% below its peak value reached in April 2022, when it reached $4.11.
Earlier, the STEPN team disclosed plans for an FSL points airdrop, wherein points will be distributed based on the ownership duration of digital Genesis sneakers. The airdrop will consist of three tiers: users owning sneakers for over 24 months will receive the highest points, followed by those in the 12-24 month range, and finally, users with ownership durations of 6-12 months.
