The Milady meme project introduces the Meme Phone as part of its outlined roadmap, marking a commitment to innovation and creativity, as stated by the project’s official announcement. This limited edition phone, exclusive to owners of Milady Meme Coin (LADYS), signifies the project’s dedication to unique offerings.
In the initial phase, the project plans to launch 100 of these phones, each accompanied by enticing benefits. These perks include the distribution of 1 million LADYF tokens with every purchase, along with a distinct NFT for identification purposes. The cost of acquiring one such phone stands at 2 Solana (SOL), equivalent to approximately $364 at the current valuation.
Prior to this initiative, the Milady NFT project successfully raised over $18 million in SOL. However, a shift in strategy was announced regarding the proposed use of SOL meme coins. The project team committed to reimbursing all investors and redirecting their focus towards alternative ventures.
Additionally, Milady and Remilia founder Charlotte Fang disclosed a security breach in March, resulting in significant financial losses. The breach, attributed to an unidentified malware infiltrating the password manager, compromised all associated wallets. Approximately 850 Ethereum (ETH) was stolen from Remilia’s treasury as a result.
Established in 2021, Milady comprises a collection of 10,000 NFT images featuring an anime-inspired profile created by Fang. Notably, in May 2023, Tesla CEO Elon Musk publicly endorsed Milady NFTs by sharing a meme utilizing images from the collection.
